Raven tales : Raven gets sick

James, Simon Daniel. (Author). Bouchard, David, 1952- (Added Author). Kientz, Chris. (Added Author).

Summary: Winter hits the Village and so does the flu bug. Over the coughing and sneezing, Frog tells a story about the early days of the new world, when humans didn't get sick. Animals complained to The Great Spirit that people had an imbalance of advantages: "They have hands, the ability to walk upright and master fire. They should at least suffer illnesses in winter as we do." The Great Spirit agreed, though he offered humans natural remedies in the plants and trees around them. The question: is man wise enough to use them...and preserve them?
